What's your cancellation policy?

Please let us know at least 24 hours before. Late cancellations may have a fee since we've already set aside time for you.

Preparing for your cleaning service visit doesn’t mean pre-cleaning your home. It means taking five to ten minutes to create conditions that let your team work efficiently and thoroughly. At The Prime Cleaner, a small amount of preparation from clients consistently results in better cleaning outcomes because our team can focus on actual cleaning rather than navigating obstacles.

The most helpful preparation is tidying personal items off surfaces. Counters covered with mail, electronics, toiletries, and daily-use items can’t be properly cleaned without moving everything, cleaning under it, and putting it back. Five minutes of putting items in their places before your team arrives frees up those surfaces for thorough cleaning.

Clear the floors of items that block vacuuming and mopping. Shoes scattered near the door, bags on the floor, toys in walkways. These don’t need to be organized perfectly. Just consolidated enough that the floor is accessible.

Secure pets if needed. Our team is comfortable around animals, but extremely anxious or aggressive pets should be in a separate room or outside area during cleaning. Let us know about pets when you book.

Put out fresh trash bags if you want us to reline your bins. We empty trash on every visit, and having replacement bags accessible helps.

Communicate priorities. If something specific needs attention this visit, tell us. A note on the counter, a quick text, or a mention at the start of the visit ensures your priorities are addressed. We clean systematically, but knowing your focus areas lets us allocate extra time where it matters most to you.

What you don’t need to do: don’t pre-clean surfaces, don’t vacuum before we arrive, don’t apologize for the state of your home. The whole point of hiring us is that we handle the cleaning.
